Twenty years ago, Behance was founded to help creatives share their work and get discovered. Since then, the platform has become a place where countless careers have taken shape.
“Behance honestly changed my career trajectory,” shares graphic designer Yana Krotova. “My very first project came through Behance, and from there everything just took off – more orders, more visibility, and eventually it turned into my full-time job.”
As our community has grown to over 65 million artists around the world, our mission has evolved alongside it. Today, Behance is a comprehensive platform designed to empower creatives at every stage of their career, from building a polished portfolio to finding clients, managing opportunities, and getting paid safely and securely.
For creatives like Laurentiu Gabriel Dumitru, that support has translated directly into new work. “Initially, I only used this platform to display my portfolio and share it with potential clients,” explains the Romanian illustrator. “But for some time now, Behance has become very important to me—I’ve gotten many more jobs here than on other freelancing platforms.”
In 2025, we focused on supporting creative careers and expanding access to opportunities.
More Opportunities for All Creatives
Our biggest priority this year was helping creatives transform visibility into real, paid work. This year alone, Behance provided $80M in job opportunities through more than 100,000 freelance projects, full-time jobs, and Adobe commissions through the Creative Apprenticeship Program. Thousands of freelancers started or strengthened their creative businesses through Behance, many earning tens of thousands of dollars from new client projects discovered directly through the platform.

London-based branding designer Numan Qadir joined Behance in 2019 after a friend’s recommendation. “It was through this platform that I connected with my first international client, who later became my business partner,” he recalls. Today, Numan runs his own design agency, Innowys, and has completed 110 paid projects on Behance. “None of this would have been possible without Behance.”

Illustrator Tung Nam started his freelance career after receiving a steady stream of client inquiries on Behance. “My first real freelance client came shortly after I received my second Best of Behance feature,” shares Nam. “It gave me the confidence to take the leap and respond." The Vietnamese artist has since worked with international clients from the US, UK, Germany, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, and beyond through Behance.
To better support working creatives like Numan and Nam at every stage of the process, we introduced the Freelancer Dashboard, a centralized tool designed to reduce administrative work so creatives can spend more time doing what they do best: creating. Now freelancers can apply to jobs, respond to inquiries, send proposals, request payments, and review feedback all from one streamlined dashboard.

We launched Behance Pro to support our community to accelerate their careers and earn more doing what they love. The Pro feature set addresses some of the most common challenges faced by creatives, from marketing their work to the right people, getting insights into their audience, and connecting with qualified clients.

Indonesian creative agency Studio Moara upgraded to Pro immediately after uploading their first Behance Project. “We didn’t think twice about upgrading to Behance Pro, it was an easy decision. The features have been nothing short of a dream come true,” says Excel R. Florendia, the studio’s business strategist.
“For me, the best part of Behance Pro is definitely the 0% commission - it makes a big difference,” shares Yana. “Plus, having access to an Adobe Portfolio website finally allowed me to create my own personal site after years of wanting one,” says Nam. “That online portfolio actually played a big role in helping me get signed by my first illustration agency last July, which was a huge milestone in my career.
In 2025, we’ve added even more powerful features to Behance Pro to help creatives get seen and get paid.

Looking ahead to 2026, we are committed to bringing more value for our Pro members, along with even higher quality job opportunities and more precise matching between clients and creatives.
A Simpler, Smarter Hiring Experience
As a two-sided marketplace, supporting clients is just as essential as supporting creatives. This year, we set out to make hiring on Behance faster and more intuitive for anyone looking to hire talent.
With the help of AI, hirers can now generate a polished project brief in seconds and instantly get matched with qualified creatives who meet their needs. Just like the Freelancer Dashboard, the new Hiring Dashboard brings every part of the workflow together, from job postings and applications to portfolios and payments.

UK-based client Christine Aguiar hired Laurentiu to create a series of illustrated tarot cards. “Laurentiu is exceptionally easy to collaborate with. His ability to translate ideas into action is impressive; he consistently delivers high-quality results in a timely manner,” she says. Their collaboration has been an ongoing one throughout the year. "I’ve hired him 20 times — that should speak for itself.”
In 2026, we’ll introduce even more hiring tools and improvements designed specifically for recruiters, creative teams, and agencies who need to identify exceptional talent quickly and confidently.
As we close out the year, we’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to every member of the Behance community. The inspiring projects you share, the meaningful connections you make, and the thoughtful feedback you contribute continue to shape the future of our platform.

We’re honored to be a part of your creative journey and look forward to building even more tools and opportunities to help you thrive in 2026.
