IN-HOUSE STUDIO ARTIST (NYC) — Original Art Creation | Multi-Style | Photoshop Expert
We are a global art and design studio creating original artwork and large-scale installations for hospitality and commercial spaces. We’re looking for a highly skilled, fast, and versatile in-house artist who can create original, compelling artwork across a wide range of styles and visual languages.
This is a true studio art role, not a production design job. You will be developing original visual concepts and finished artwork every day. We need a creative who can generate ideas, adapt to many aesthetics, and deliver original artwork with high quality and speed. They must have strong knowledge of creating art from the initial concept stages through production.
What You’ll Do
· Create original, high-quality artwork daily in multiple styles and genres
· Interpret creative direction and produce new, individual visual solutions
· Use Photoshop at an expert level to create refined, finished artwork
· Deliver precise color matching and nuanced visual execution
· Prepare and refine files for fabrication and framing with accuracy
· Collaborate with and responsible for working with our internal team, framers, and fabrication partners to ensure the artwork is realized exactly as intended in production.
You Are
· A highly creative artist with exceptional range and versatility
· Comfortable working in many styles — from fine art to graphic, abstract, and decorative
· Able to interpret a concept and produce something original and distinct
· Obsessed with craft, detail, and color accuracy
· Fast, responsive, and able to work independently within a collaborative team with a positive and flexible attitude.
· Comfortable creating both concept work and finished art ready for production
Must Have
· Expert-level Photoshop skills
· A strong portfolio demonstrating range, originality, and craftsmanship
· Ability to create original artwork, not just iterations or adaptations
· Excellent sense of color, texture, and composition
· Ability to work full-time in-house in NYC
· Background in fine art, concept art, or visual development
· Experience working with framers, fabricators, or large-scale artwork

Salary Range: $60,000 – $100,000 annually (based on experience and demonstrated skill level)
